Involve in Buying ( Fashion, Hijabs and Cosmetics )
Work with the Head of E-commerce to plan the global buying strategy for the website, Fashion, Accessories Cosmetics & Hijabs categories for both Women's & Kids.
Lead the selection of the category and product matrix based on the OTB budget.
Achieve budgeted sales, OTB and sell through targets
Prepare and present the e-commerce buy debrief presentation back to the business.
Lead the briefing of the buy to the product visual team to guide styling for the photo-shoots.
Analyze performance on business goals and implement plans to improve selling results
Provide assistance, guidance and direction regarding sales patterns and future purchasing philosophies and parameters.
Monitor and analyze sales (by item, style, category), margin and profit reports.
Manage timing/flow of product, based on seasonal plans.
Create, communicate & manage to strict timelines for new and existing buys.
Handle the margins and pricing process for all categories.
Balance product, trend, and fashion with our customer’s needs in mind.
Finding and building relationships with current suppliers and seeking new vendors.
Negotiating product costs and terms, and identifying and recommending new products and trends with the suppliers.
Drive sales, conversion, margin, inventory turn and other web KPIs.
Create and execute category and SKU-based assortment and merchandising plans.
Assisting the maintenance of each seasons range plan spreadsheet, chasing missing information as required.
Market research and competitive shopping as directed by the buyer
Admin support to help with the general running of the Buying department as necessary
Selecting new collection based on each season and reviewing the old.
Enter all details of the selected collections on SAP system.
Merchandising & Stock Management
Work with the Online Team Leader who is responsible of the catalogue management (descriptions, translations, prices) & product order on the web site.
Complete weekly, monthly & seasonal sales and stock analysis and identifying product opportunities and business challenges.
Follow product performance throughout the season to understand global trend lines and build a strong understanding of the customer profile in our top markets
Manage quality checks and end of season returns.
Produce seasonal and ad hoc analysis where necessary.
Manage Daily and Weekly replenishment of basic stock items.
Work with Visual team on merchandise mix in website and mobile app to best convey Armada’s Concept/ image.
Prepare action plan for weekly sales overview, best and worst sellers, sell through, returns analysis and provide recommendations for moving slower stock.
Prepare seasonal product analysis from attributing product (e.g. shape, color etc) to analyzing the sales figures, sizing analysis and lessons learnt for the merchandiser, buyer & designers
Check with the warehouse team regarding the shipment of product
Check and filing all sample and courier invoices
Liaise with Accounts Dept to ensure sample invoices are paid
Keep a record of sample invoice amounts as directed by the Buyer / Accounts department.
Coordinate with Retail Operations Manager to provide product knowledge information and display guidelines for the products in the website.
Ad hoc web assistance to keep the website updated; changing item layouts, hiding out of stock items and attributing.
Experience of E-commerce merchandising best practice, with an understanding of user behavior
Understanding of E-commerce fulfilment process and how to achieve cost effective business solutions while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Any other task within the business’ need.Job Details
